What this policy covers
MyBalanceNow (“we”, “our”) operates the balance-checking tool at balance-mybalancenow.com. This page explains what information we receive when you use the tool, how it’s used, and what we don’t do with it.
Information we receive
When you submit the balance-lookup form we receive:
- The 16-digit card number
- The card’s expiration date
- The 3-digit security code (CVV)
We do not ask for your name, email address, billing address, IP-based identity, or any other personal information.
How we use it
The card details you submit are forwarded over an encrypted channel to our card-network verification provider in real time so that the available balance and transaction history can be returned to you. The lookup is read-only — it never moves money, never registers a new account, and never authorises a charge.
What we don’t do
- We do not store the card number, expiry, or CVV after the lookup completes.
- We do not write the values you submit to a log file or analytics system.
- We do not sell, share, or rent any data we receive.
- We do not place advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
Service providers
Two third parties help us deliver the lookup:
- Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel, which terminates HTTPS connections and runs the server code that forwards your request to the verification provider.
- Verification provider: the card-network partner that returns the balance and transaction list. Your card details are visible to this provider only for the duration of the real-time lookup.
Security
Every connection to this site is encrypted with TLS. The server-side code that handles your submission runs on isolated serverless functions and is not accessible from the public network.
Children
MyBalanceNow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
